Becky Fuchs Mahoney, life long
competitor, instructor, horse trainer, and clinician, is
offering five
day horsemanship schools or “camps” and private
riding lessons to teach any age person horsemanship
basics… to ride, rope, or enjoy a New Mexico ranch
experience. Must provide your own horse for
lessons and camps.
As a Monte Foreman Certified Instructor, Becky has
utilized her knowledge to compete, win, and produce many
champions in the rodeo world. She will help you to learn
the basics of making all parts of a horse move in a
manner to handle any activity anywhere, anytime, anyhow,
for anything when mounted.
For whatever event or style of riding you do, perfecting
your basic horsemanship skills are necessities. Becky’s
camps will make you more competitive in the arena and/or
advance your ranch horsemanship on the range or trail, to include enhancing your horse’s
cattle handling skills. The proof that it works is on the
testimonial page of the website!
Becky is now booking schools at her Florence, Arizona
home arena. Schools are held in the summer months
on her family’s 25,000 acre working cattle ranch on the
Pecos river near Santa Rosa, New Mexico. Private lessons
are also offered.
Camps (limited to 5) will be separated into:
- Horse handling basics
- Horse handling basics with real New Mexico ranch
experiences
- Horse handling basics focusing on barrel racing, pole
bending, & goat tying.
- Breakaway roping schools (for any level of competitor)
- Team roping schools for beginning or intermediate level
ropers.
